“5 Illegals” is the latest video from Kleva‘s newest mixtape, Del La Nawf Vol. 2: 40’s On Sixth.
Kleva comes strong with a visual that sets a new bar for both Latinos and non Latinos in the game that thought that by using a few slang words in Spanish to exploit the Latino fan base was going to cut it. The fact is that some Latino artists are completely embarrassed about being Latino and try almost everything in their power to avoid the Latino Fan base brand attachment all together, even though publicly they still benefit from it by default as they assimilate JUST as “mainstream” artists. Kleva shows the right way of coming into the mainstream arena as a Latino Hip Hop artist and that’s by embracing his Latino fan base as the swaggiest elephant in the room, setting trends with his own style and by not following the latest trends set by other mainstream artists to get noticed.
