The Jordan Clan is a family hip hop crew which consist of Lionel “6’6 240” Jordan, and Eric “Monstalung” Jordan from Cleveland Ohio, via West Virginia. Their EP release is entitled Neo Griots, after a poem written by their deceased father Norman Jordan. You can listen to the full EP here.
The video and song “Leaving (Remix)” is off the EP Neo Griots, which is a story about a relationship where the boyfriend finds his girlfriend cheating on him. West Virginia artist Johnny Harmonic sings the hook on this song, and is the original creator of the song “Leaving.” Eric Jordan produced the beat and song for Johnny Harmonic, his brother Lionel heard the track and was motivated to expand Johnny’s story with his own detailed story about a cheating relationship he was in.
